The Langley School, a PS-8 independent school in McLean, Virginia, seeks a part-time middle school Mandarin Chinese teacher beginning in August 2019. World language teachers work collaboratively with members of their department as well as teachers in other disciplines to provide a rich and integrated program for our students. Langley’s world language program emphasizes both language acquisition and cultural understanding and is aligned with ACTFL standards. Langley’s students learn language through authentic experiences that develop their global competencies and enhance language acquisition.
