The Calhoun School, a leading progressive, independent, co-educational day school in Manhattan, seeks a part time After School Program Staff for the 2019 - 2020 school year.
Qualified candidates are positive role models, ages 21 years old or older, with a college degree and at least 1 year of experience working with children. ASP staff are involved in development, organization, and implementation of school age programming, including games and sports, arts and crafts, homework assistance, creative play, and theater.
ASP81 is for students 7-12 years old. Program hours are Monday-Friday, 3-6:00 pm. Students participate in a variety of activities ranging from outdoor play, theater games, art projects, homework help, etc. For more information about Calhoun ASP please visit our web page.
Bachelor's degree required.
Considerable experience supporting or leading activities in an educational or child care program or camp; preferably in a progressive environment.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A background in a creative discipline such as art, dance, theater or music is preferred.
