The successful candidate must have 2 – 5 years of accounting experience, an associate’s degree preferred, ability to work independently and handle/maintain confidential information. Good verbal & written communication skills are necessary to support the Business Office and school family. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are important qualifications for this position.
Accounts Payable - match purchase orders, packing slips and invoices; follow up with faculty, staff and vendors.
Payroll – collect and verify timesheets and time off forms; compile information for payroll processing.
Administrative Support – reports directly to the Assistant Business Manager, providing expertise in daily operations of the Business Office.
Computer Skills – Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on advanced Excel knowledge; working knowledge of Quickbooks required; knowledge of Blackbaud accounting software preferred.
Office Hours: – 8:00am to 4:00pm - Position offers flexible schedule options during regular business hours. Current position requires 16 – 24 hours per week year round and is a permanent opportunity.
