St. John’s Prep seeks a High School Science Teacher beginning September 2019. This position teaches courses in various science related subjects, such as physics, chemistry, biology, earth and/ or science elective courses. Our teacher will need to implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and instruction aligned to Common Core State Standards. S/he will also work collaboratively with teachers in other disciplines. Additionally, our Science teachers guide students in applying their subject matter knowledge and skills through evidence-based scientific explanations and arguments, and by challenging them to address real-world problems that impact the community students live in.
