Lower School Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
Brentwood School, a vibrant and diverse K – 12 independent school, is seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to the Lower School (West Campus) Main Office.
The principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Fielding all calls to the West Campus (grades K – 5)
Greeting and directing all visitors and families who enter the Main Academic Building
Providing support to the Administrative Assistant to the Lower School Director and to the Assistant Director of the Lower School, as well as occasional support to other members of the Lower School administrative team
Coordination of the daily student transportation schedule
Processing daily student attendance
Assisting with the organization of After School Activities
Sorting and distributing all mail
Assisting with ordering Lower School supplies
Scheduling class field trips
Additional duties as assigned
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to provide a high level of customer service
Ability to multitask with a focus on details
Ability to work collaboratively
High level of comfort with elementary age children
Ability to prioritize and manage simultaneous demands with a willing, friendly attitude

Brentwood School opened in the fall of 1972 as a co-educational, college preparatory day school with grades 6-10. Grade 11 was added in fall 1973, and the school graduated its first senior class in June 1975.
