Perkiomen School is looking for an Admissions Database Assistant. This position will require strong organizational skills, the capacity to perform various office and administrative tasks related to the admissions program, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Maintain data integrity and take extra security precautions when handling personally identifiable information.
Transform or transfer data upon request in a timely manner.
Assist staff with data entry methods.
Ensure data is adequately backed up.
Ensure the functionality and utility of various admission database systems, which provide accurate information to both applicants and admissions officers.
Perform tasks related to the daily maintenance and management of incoming admissions data: inquiries, applications, and application documents.
Track admissions statistics and produce reports as needed by the Director.
Assist with daily visitors, phone calls, inquiries and emails as needed.
Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and adapting to changing priorities, and maintain a consistent high level of performance.
Assists the Director of Admissions with all admission reporting and research including, preparation and compilation of data
Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer-related field (Preferred)
Strong appreciation for the values of the School and its philosophy of radical hospitality.
Proven ability to work with multiple deadlines and multiple priorities.
Good written and verbal communication.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset, strong work ethic, detail-oriented with superior organizational skills.
Competency in standard office software, such as Microsoft Office and Excel. Filemaker Pro and/or inResonance experience desired but not required.
Some evening and weekend work related to special events and meetings may be required.
