The Associate Director of Admissions will support a comprehensive travel schedule and strategic outreach to build and maintain relationships with educational consultants and potential feeder schools, and ultimately take part in the creation of a strong Darrow student community each year. Travel is a significant component of the position and the Associate Director will travel regionally, nationally, and perhaps internationally to support the School’s enrollment goals. The Associate Director will also work closely with the Director of Admissions & Enrollment Management and the Director of Finance to ensure the efficiency of the financial aid and re-enrollment process. You will engage in the full range of recruiting, selecting, and enrolling new students, including personal contact, phone calls, and e-mail/web communications to assist with outreach from initial contact to post-enrollment.
Your responsibilities may also include residential duty and advising, and may include participation in Spring Term. You will be expected to engage in other School and individual assignments as designated by the Head of School and which boarding school life demands.
Attend weekly faculty meetings and participate actively in discussions in an ongoing exchange in information and support with a close-knit staff
Attend faculty in-service sessions, as well as opening and closing meetings
Work closely with other faculty and staff to ensure cross-curricular approaches, continuity and progression across grade levels

Bachelor’s degree required
