Kents Hill School seeks an outgoing, positive, creative, and organized person to join our admissions team as the Assistant Director of Admissions. This position is responsible for executing the on-campus experience for prospective students and their families. Primary responsibilities include planning and executing visits for prospective students and their families; and planning all admissions-related events. This individual will be responsible for the recruitment, management, training, and engagement of the student tour guides and effectively coordinate the various members of the faculty whom students wish to meet (i.e. coaches, program directors). Travel throughout New England may be required. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Director of Enrollment Management.
Members of the faculty and staff at Kents Hill share responsibilities on campus including some weeknight and weekend responsibilities; serving as an advisor for students; participating in student activities; and other duties assigned by the Head of School. The ideal candidate will be a full-time member of the Kents Hill School community and contribute to all aspects of boarding school life.
Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in education and experience
Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Experience with databases
Appreciation of Kents Hill’s mission and the ability to communicate it
Willingness to work outside normal working hours (ie. nights and weekends)
Strong collaboration skills
Outgoing, friendly, and enjoy working with young people
