Lake Highland Preparatory School is seeking a Development and Campaign Assistant to perform an array of administrative support duties for the Vice President of Advancement. These responsibilities include administrative and operational tasks for the 50th Anniversary campaign. The optimal candidate will be a self-starter with outstanding organizational and project coordination skills. The abilities to solve problems, complete tasks with accuracy and timeliness, and handle confidential information are essential.
This position is part-time (non-benefited), working, on average, 27 hours per week.

Works closely with Vice President of Advancement, trustees, and campaign volunteers on scheduling, materials preparation, and providing administrative support for 50th anniversary campaign
Organizes and files documents
Facilitates appointment scheduling for Vice President of Advancement through management of Outlook, including meal reservations and travel arrangements
Prepares monthly credit card reconciliations and expense reimbursement reports
Coordinates Advancement meetings, both on and off campus, including room reservations, facilities requests, catering, and other meeting details
Attends meetings and prepares agendas and minutes as requested
Assists with letter drafting, editing, printing, and mailing using mail merge tools; back-up for gift acknowledgement/thank you letters
Warmly greets and assists guests either by phone or in person
Prepares for and accommodates visitors of Advancement team
All other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Advancement
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities/ Education and Experience
Must have exceptional typing and data entry skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Raiser's Edge (fundraising database) experience a plus
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent time management skills
Takes initiative to be helpful and productive
Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or five years' experience in a professional or educational setting
Proven experience as an administrative assistant with exemplary planning, organizational, and time management skills
