The Episcopal Academy currently seeks an Upper School Administrative Assistant. This position provides administrative support for a number of key processes, including attendance, hiring, and professional development. This person plays an integral role in the daily operations of the school, interacting with students, faculty members, and families regularly.
Essential duties and responsibilities for this full-time 12-month position include:
Managing and maintaining daily Upper School attendance using school-wide database system
Managing schedules for Academic Dean and Hiring Coordinator
Supporting school-wide hiring processes by:
Posting positions through multiple job search platforms
Scheduling videoconferencing and phone interviews and reference calls
Scheduling and arranging campus visits, helping to host same
Soliciting feedback on candidates and providing summary reports for decision-makers
Supporting school-wide professional development (PD) by:
Maintaining online list of professional development opportunities
Assisting faculty with completion of PD requests and payments
Tracking PD requests, estimated expenses, and actual expenses
Booking professional development experiences and travel for teachers
General administrative support, including ordering office and teaching supplies and other similar tasks.
