The Revolution School (RS), a progressive high school opening in Philadelphia during the fall 2019, seeks a full-time admissions associate to help the school attract, yield, and support the retention of mission appropriate students. The Associate is responsible for interviewing prospective students and families applying to the Revolution School as well as facilitating the entire admissions process. The successful candidate will be an energetic, ethical, and collaborative professional with proven commitment to the values and mission of Revolution School. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS:
Participate in all areas of admissions activities
Interview prospective families and students applying to Revolution School and make timely decisions on admissions files
Convene the admissions evaluation committee.
Proactively engage with admissions inquiries to support applicant families through the admissions process
Support the needs of students with the transition to an independent School
Help plan and attend program previews, luncheons, and school visits (internal and external)
Increase inquiry and applicant pool through technology, marketing, and outreach initiatives to help meet full enrollment
Continuously utilize data points and surveys to assist in making realistic enrollment projections.
Assist in preparing Admission board reports and dashboards
Support faculty in their work with students and families
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Experience in admissions, recruitment related functions in independent schools, college level, or non-profit preferred
A commitment to Revolution School’s vision for an empowering, integrated, joyous, and diverse school community is essential
Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred
Knowledge of computer applications, google suite, admissions and tuition software preferred (specifically School Admin and SSS).
Demonstrated strength in organization, written and verbal communication, and time management required
