Hamden Hall Country Day School is seeking a part-time Library Media Specialist (16 hours per week). This person will partner with Upper and Middle School teachers to promote research and reading to students. The Library Media Specialist will also be responsible for teaching a technology class once a week to MS students as part of their arts curriculum.
In addition, the selected candidate will be expected to:
Collaborate with the Lower School Librarian and Library Coordinator
Provide research and material support to teachers
Work on special projects as they arise such as Back to School Night and our December Book Fair
Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree in Library Science or related field is required.
Experience in school library work is preferred
Proficiency in G Suite for Education is required
Knowledge of current literature and professional trends in youth literature is required

Hamden Hall Country Day School is a PreSchool - Grade 12 co-educational Day School located in Hamden, CT.
