Position: Admissions Associate
Reports to: Head of Lower School
Job Classification: Full time, 12 month exempt position
The Admissions Associate will work, in direct support of the Director of Admissions, to enhance, evaluate, and participate in the admissions process to ensure the recruitment, enrollment, and retention of mission appropriate students for Hamlin Robinson School. He/She will serve as a resource for the faculty in understanding the admissions and decision process. He/She is responsible for supporting all aspects of the admissions process and enrollment management. The position requires the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities. The Admissions Associate works in a collaborative partnership with members of the administration and faculty.
To maintain an efficient and welcoming process to respond to inquiries
To respond to In-Take calls in a timely fashion
To schedule and coordinate school tours
To participate in tours for prospective families and professionals
To review student applications
To coordinate student visit days
To make recommendations regarding admissions decisions
To input and update student and family information in the database
To maintain a system for admissions records
To coordinate and participate in events for educational professionals
To participate in admissions fairs and activities
To gather and compile data regarding the admissions process
To maintain student files and manage transcript requests
To build awareness of Hamlin Robinson School in the professional community
To schedule and participate in tours of other schools for HRS faculty and staff
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office word processing, database management, spreadsheet, graphics and presentation software
Excellent written and oral presentation skills
Polite and professional telephone skills
Commitment to learning about our student population

Ability to interact effectively with parents and various levels of organization
Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects efficiently
