Lincoln School, founded in 1884, is an independent Early Childhood-Grade 12 Quaker school for girls in Providence, Rhode Island. We are currently seeking a full-time Physical Education teacher for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Qualified candidates will have experience working with students in elementary and middle school and have an ability to develop and teach a comprehensive physical education program that emphasizes health and wellness including building confidence, cooperative skills, physical health, strength, sports skills, positive social skills, and the value of exercise.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
N-8 curriculum development
Daily planning and teaching
Coaching one season in our after-school, interscholastic athletics program
A Bachelor's degree in Physical Education/Health and Wellness is required; a graduate degree is preferred
