Watkinson School, offering inventive learning to Hartford and surrounding communities since 1881, seeks a part-time receptionist. The position is flexible and expected to be approximately 25 hours per week. The receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors and greeting them, both in person and on the telephone and answering or referring inquiries. Additionally, the position is responsible for tracking student and adult attendance and acting as our rental coordinator and calendar manager for non-school events. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with students is essential.
The ideal candidate would have strong skills in the following areas: telephone technology, verbal communication, Microsoft Office tools, listening, professionalism, discretion, customer focus, organization, informing others, and the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.
