Job Description: The role of the Admissions Office Manager (AOM) is to ensure the Admissions office is an inviting, warm, and Christ-centered environment for all who may contact Landmark Christian School inquiring about potential admission whether it is in person, on the phone, and via social media/internet marketing services. He/She reports directly to the Director of Admissions.
Provide exceptional overall office experience to all who come in contact with our office obtaining the goal of sensing God’s presence and desiring to visit Landmark and our offices again
Manage and maintain information of volunteer teams (parents/students)
Ensure volunteer teams are well-equipped with needed information, materials, and attire to perform volunteer duties requested of them and feel like they are valued and appreciated members of Admissions
Schedule and coordinate campus tours and shadow days with volunteer teams (parents/students) and ensure team calendars are up-to-date and coordinated with central offices
Communicate graciously (i.e. provide “thank yous”) to those who provide products and services that support Admissions’ efforts
Provide general communications regarding specific Admissions events and activities (e.g. Info Sessions, Parent/Student Ambassador meetings)
Maintain office supplies and Admissions collateral (e.g. event packets, gift bags, View books, Orientation bags, etc.) so that they are organized and available at point of need
Manage office administration including expense reporting, facility/IT requests/submissions (i.e. School Dudes), full office calendars, and out-of-office requests and approvals.
Coordinate Admissions-sponsored events/activities including volunteer orientations and parties, Info Sessions, and school orientations, community outreach events, and new family welcome visits
Qualifications and Skills:
Warm and inviting demeanor
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Suite, and internet
Highly organized, detailed oriented, and conscientious regarding work/office space
The successful candidate will be a Christian, who has a commitment to Christian education, and whose daily walk with Christ is evident in all they do.
