Charlotte Latin School is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer to assist with coverage of athletic teams in grades 6-12. The position will begin August 2019.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic related injuries
Provide athletic training coverage in practice and games as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer
Document and maintain active medical records of all evaluations, treatments,rehabilitation and referrals of athletic injuries
Assist with checking off appropriate medical forms
Act as a liaison between student-athletes, their parents, coaches, teachers and CLS administration
Assist with all facets of the interscholastic athletic program in grades 6-12
Ability to perform duties individually while working in a team environment
Other duties as assigned by Director of Athletics
Education and Experience
Must have a bachelor’s degree in athletic training, Masters preferred
Must be NATABOC certified
Must be eligible for NC Licensure
Experience with independent school setting preferred
2-3 years post bachelors experience preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Exhibit a commitment to wellness and working with the whole child

Proficient with using technology
Maintains organization and attention to detail
Adheres to the highest level of professionalism by demonstrating honesty, integrity and maturity
Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
Willingness and ability to do some travel with the majority of travel being in town
