The Associate Director of Admission and Financial Aid is a member of the team that designs and executes the admission and enrollment processes at George School. He/ she assists families and their prospective George School student through the ongoing process that begins with the family’s first contact with GS through and until the admission decision and ultimate enrollment. This includes annual recruitment travel and representation at admission fairs, interviews with students and their families, phone conversations and written correspondence.
The Associate Director of Admission and Financial Aid is also a member of the admission team who manages the financial aid program and process. He/she works with the Director of Financial Aid to support the financial aid office processes. He/she works closely with the Director of Admission & Director of Enrollment Management and Strategic Initiatives so that the enrollment goals are coordinated with the allocation of financial aid.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required.
Admission and financial aid experience required. Independent school experience preferred.
Ability to travel.
Experience with School and Student Services by NAIS preferred.
Excellent public speaking, telephone and writing skills.
