If you want a job that’s easy, safe and comfortable, then Tahoe Expedition Academy (“TEA”) is not the right fit for you. But, if you seek adventure, love a challenge and find meaning immersing yourself in a creative community where every day brings new opportunities to innovate, explore and grow, then talk to us. TEA is a Pre-K through 12th grade independent school with an educational approach that combines classical content and skills with real-world problem solving. We’re redesigning education for today’s world, by creating engaging experiences that challenge students mentally, physically and emotionally. We call this Constructive Adversity.
At TEA, character education is central to everything we do, so we’re looking for people with compassion, courage, collaboration and creativity. Whereas many schools prioritize safety over growth and comfort over risk-taking, we embrace change and adversity. In fact, we lean into complex, difficult challenges and find motivation in doing hard things.
TEA is a place where anything is possible and individuals can have a significant impact on the present and future of the organization. We are continuing to build a TEAm of people who are willing to take on big challenges in the name of student agency, designing education for today’s world and engaging with the world’s most pressing issues. We are looking to add expertise and initiative to our administrative team, with a focus on broadening and deepening our fundraising efforts.
