Kent Place School seeks a Director of Philanthropic Engagement. This full-time, 12-month position will focus on developing the Leadership Gifts program and partner strategically with the Director of Advancement on a comprehensive and visionary campaign. Responsibilities include identifying and cultivating major gifts prospects, creating and implementing a comprehensive stewardship plan, developing and tracking engagement metrics, creating written communications and proposals and actively participating in donor and volunteer events. Candidates must have previous management experience, excellent communication and organization skills, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and a collaborative work style. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience in major gifts/campaigns in an independent school or university setting; familiarity with Raiser’s Edge and RE NXT a plus.
