Hillel Torah is seeking an experienced educator to join our middle school faculty for the 2019-2020 school year. Depending on the skills, experience, and interest of the candidate, the position will be a combination of two of the following subjects: English Language Arts, Social Studies and/or Science.
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in middle school classrooms, strong curricular knowledge and a student-centered philosophy rooted in discovery and exploration. Bachelor's degree and Illinois Professional Educator License required. Teaching experience and/or out-of-state certificates/licenses will be considered and evaluated in lieu of an Illinois PEL. Candidate should also be a strong team player who collaborates with his/her grade-level team, the student services department, administration, parents and outside support.
