The Baldwin School is seeking an Assistant Teacher for Pre-Kindergarten. Responsibilities include working collaboratively with the lead teacher helping girls develop readiness skills. Job duties will include but are not limited to:
Assisting the lead teacher in planning, designing, and implementing curriculum.
Providing support for whole class, small group and individual instruction in the Pre-K classroom.
Assisting students at lunch time.
Maintaining a clean and well-organized classroom.
Performing car and bus duty.
Attending faculty meetings, and serving on committees as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or elementary education. This position offers the opportunity for new teachers to work directly in the classroom with the support and supervision of our expert faculty.
