Tower Hill School seeks to hire a highly motivated and talented Upper School (Grades 9, 11, and 12) English teacher for January 2020 through the end of school in June 2020. The ideal candidate will have teaching experience at the upper school level and/or a degree in English or Education, a deep love of traditional and diverse literature, and a commitment to teaching writing, grammar, vocabulary, and critical thinking about both literature and our constantly changing world.
This substitute will join other dedicated colleagues in a collaborative and stimulating environment. Duties will include classroom instruction, communication with students, parents and colleagues, active participation in the work of the department, advisory duties with students, and participation in department, division, and all-school initiatives.
