Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy (BCHA), an independent Jewish school in Stamford, CT, is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and qualified Upper School English teacher.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience teaching high school English. The candidate should be comfortable teaching various levels of the subject from 9th through 12th grade. An advanced degree in the field and the ability to teach English electives would be advantages.
Extracurricular responsibilities may include advising students, chaperoning school trips, and mentoring student clubs, as well as undertaking various duties that contribute to the life of the school. We are looking for team players with enthusiasm for their subject and excellent communication skills. Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.
