Marin Horizon School is an independent, progressive school serving students enrolled in Toddler - 8th grade on two campuses in Mill Valley. The school was founded as a Montessori-inspired preschool in 1977 by a group of parents and faculty. The program has grown to incorporate other educational approaches that complement our Montessori foundation. Our mission is to challenge students to be self-reliant thinkers and lifelong learners.
