The MS Computer Associate is an entry-level, part-time staff position. This person supports the fluid operations of the MS computer lab, the MakerSpace and technology programming within the Middle School.
Essential Job Functions:
Maintain and check MS printers daily.
Help organize and reorganize the MakerSpace on a regular basis
Maintain the computer lab
Help with running and overseeing the 3D printers and Laser Cutter
Support MS Technology Coordinator with:
Weekly tech plans
Co-teaching the 6th grade Digital Leadership course
Post photos and slideshows in a timely fashion on the monitor in the MS office
Maintain and update software for all iPads and computers.
Assist teachers with new apps.
Assist Technology Coordinator
Maintain school devices for checkout
Charging, clearing memory cards, keeping checkout sheet current
Help field faculty trouble tickets and pass along to I.S. department when unable to address
Cover MS Technology Coordinator’s teaching duties when Coordinator is absent
