Jemicy School, which educates talented and bright college-bound students (grades 1-12) with dyslexia or other related language-based learning differences, is seeking a full-time educator teaching Lower and Middle school Language skills curriculum for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. The ideal candidate will be a highly creative and passionate educator with prior experience tutoring/teaching language skills using a multisensory, structured literacy approach (Orton-Gillingham based). In addition, the applicant should possess a strong background in language development, be proficient/comfortable with educational technology, and be able to individualize students’ reading/spelling goals to support a broad range of student learning styles and provide personalized instruction.
