Germantown Academy, located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, is seeking qualified, experienced candidates for a Full Time Admission, Enrollment and Financial Aid Office Manager. Position Purpose: The Admission, Enrollment and Financial Office Manager supports the Director of Admission, Enrollment and Financial Aid in coordinating the daily operations of the department related to admission processes, admission marketing and outreach efforts, financial aid, and research. With a focus on internal and external communication, this person will assist with Admission Committee planning and preparation, admission marketing and outreach communication, and financial aid organization and implementation. He/She will also assist the Director with Enrollment Management research, data, reports and special projects. He/She may be asked to support the Assistant Directors of Admission and the Admission Officers. This position does not qualify for tuition remission.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Provide Financial Aid management and support: a. Maintain Admission components of FA records b. Schedule FA Preliminary Family Meetings and confirm appointments c. Manage FA reports for Director of Admission d. Create award letters 2. Supervise the day to day operations of the Admission, Enrollment and Financial Aid Office, and administrative staff. 3. Provide Admission decision support: a. Assist with Admission Committee preparation b. Assist with Admission Reports 4. Coordinate details related to all Recruitment & Retention initiatives: a. Attend admission recruitment events b. Assist with Patriot Ambassador and Admission Parent Partner Programs 5. Support Admission Marketing communication: a. Develop admission external marketing communications in collaboration with Director and Assistant Directors b. Distribute communication emails per Admission Communication Plan c. Update web information as needed 6. Conduct Research for admission data needs: a. Support student benchmarking data b. Assist Director w/ all special projects and provide reports as requested 7. Manage departmental budget. 8. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: 1. Must be accurate, detail oriented, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills 2. Must exercise sound judgment and discretion in communicating with the public and the school community fully honoring the confidentiality required in admission work. 3. Must be able to work independently, take initiative and assume responsibility for all components of the position. 4. Must be able to multi-task, monitor deadlines and complete a variety of assignments on time. 5. Must possess strong interpersonal skills, have the ability to work as a team player, and have supervisory experience. 6. Must have strong computer skills with knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite programs. 7. BA/BS required. 8. Minimum 5 years administrative experience. Experience in independent school/college admission preferred.
