St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, MD seeks a Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, effective July 2020.
The mission of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is to know and inspire each child in an inclusive community dedicated to exceptional teaching, learning, and service. Founded in 1978, St. Andrew’s is a co-educational independent day school, enrolling approximately 645 students in preschool-grade 12. St. Andrew’s 19-acre Postoak Campus has been enhanced in recent years with the addition of its 43,000sf Student Center and Izzo Quadrangle (2016) and its 31,000sf Lower School (2019).

The Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DDEI) will help to guide the school’s policies, programs, and professional development. He or she will be a thoughtful, dynamic leader who enjoys working with adolescents and their teachers and families. The Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will have a talent for gracefully communicating and realizing the School's inclusive Episcopal identity and supporting our highly diverse community.
Candidates should have at least three years of administrative experience in one or more Preschool-Grade 12 settings; teaching experience is strongly preferred.
