Crossroads School for Arts and Sciences seeks a dynamic mathematics educator to join its Upper School Mathematics Department as a sabbatical leave replacement from January-June, 2020. The mathematics department offers varying levels of mathematics classes. Math faculty work with students within the classroom and are expected to work in the school’s math tutorial center. Applicants should be able to teach Geometry, Honors Algebra 2 and Trigonometry/Precalculus.
Applicants should meet or exceed these requirements:
Minimum B.A. in mathematics, mathematics education or a related field (graduate degree preferred)
Minimum of 5 years high school mathematics teaching experience
Practice with incorporating technology into lessons
Supportive of individual students and their learning, enthusiastic about the subject and committed to a collaborative and team approach
