St. Margaret’s School is conducting a search for a full time energetic and innovative faculty member to be the primary Visual Fine Arts teacher for the remainder of the school year, effective immediately. This position will teach a variety of Visual Fine Art offerings, including but not limited to drawing, painting, mixed media, digital photography, ceramics, and art history along with a class for more accomplished students who are preparing portfolios. This position will require the individual embrace boarding school culture and engage fully in school life. This is a full-time, 10-month benefited faculty position that may include on-campus housing. Preference will be given to the individual who can serve as a hall adult, living on-campus with girls in one of the residence halls.

Aptitude for a number of diverse offerings
Enthusiasm for creative teaching, professional growth, and applying technology
Belief in the transformative power of a girls’ school
A master’s degree or Virginia teaching certification is preferred
Ability and enthusiasm for coaching welcome
Additional Salary Information: On-campus housing that is not located in a residence hall may be available.
