Reporting to the Next School Placement Manager, the Scheduler and next School Placement Coordinator plays an important role representing Armstrong to current families, visitors, and professional colleagues. Consequently, the Scheduler and Next School Placement Coordinator’s interactions and demeanor with all community members and visitors are direct reflections of the School’s mission and values.
Manages and maintains student educational testing records, evaluations, and supporting documentation.
Coordinates student observations, assessments, and IEP meetings with area school districts and private evaluators.
Coordinates production, review, and distribution of transcripts with Student Services.
Manages data integrity through integrity checks and reports, and solves issues found.

Education, Certifications, Work Related Experience and Skills:
Associate’s degree preferred with 2-4 years experience in school setting
Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form, as well as ability to ascertain and prioritize which people and tasks may need attention immediately and act accordingly.
Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively, positively and accurately, in person and in writing, with all constituents in a school environment; accept responsibility and self-motivated.
High productivity, strong organizational abilities and excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment, including the ability to handle multiple tasks on a regular basis while also prioritizing responsiveness, professionalism and timely follow-up in all communications and interactions.
Experience in a fast-paced, high volume work environment is desirable.
Experience with the Blackbaud data system, Google applications, Microsoft Office, and the latest in commercial communications platforms is preferred.
Ability to handle with care and discretion confidential information and situations while also demonstrating poise under pressure.
Willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
