Good Shepherd Episcopal School seeks a collaborative individual to develop and guide the overall vision, creation, and evolution of the academic program through curriculum and professional learning in collaboration with division heads and other department leadership. The Director of Curriculum will report to the Division Heads and will serve as an instructional leader, classroom coach, and offer curriculum oversight and review. He or she will manage curricular programs and educational resources, will maintain academic standards required to ensure continued accreditation, and will ensure academic programs and objectives are reflective of the school’s mission. The Director of Curriculum will coordinate and oversee professional learning opportunities for faculty, staff and administration and the professional learning budget, as well as recommend and approve continuing education and expenses. He or she will lead faculty meetings and in-service training, as well as coordinate and facilitate Curriculum Retreats for divisions and departments across the school. The Director of Curriculum will work closely with Division Heads, Director of Diversity, and Director of Partnerships and Collaborations to create robust learning experiences for faculty, both internally and externally. He or she will work with the Coordinator for New Faculty and Mentoring to on-board new employees, and will serve on multiple committees within the faculty.
