Virginia Episcopal School seeks to fill a long-term substitute position in English from February 15, 2020, until the end of May 2020.
The successful candidate will have:
Demonstrated strength in English teaching experience. Specifically, the position requires the candidate to teach Advanced Placement English Literature and 10th Grade English.
Demonstrated interest in and experience with student-centered educational practices and experience in a variety of teaching methods.
The ability to enjoy, engage and inspire adolescents to strive toward their best in the classroom.
Availability from 8:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday from February 15, 2020, until the end of May 2020.

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, a Master’s degree is desired.
