The St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School Advancement Office is responsible for engaging, cultivating and soliciting over 7,000 constituents including alumni, current parents, grandparents, parents of alumni, faculty and staff. The Associate Director of Constituent Relations reports to the Senior Director of Alumni and Parent Engagement and is responsible for keeping alumni and alumni families informed, engaged, and committed to the school and its financial support. S/he provides leadership for alumni programming, including event planning, relationship building, program development, volunteer management, and actively involving alumni in the school community. This position is a full-time, twelve-month position. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in advancement, event-planning, marketing, or other relevant areas. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to collaborate with others in a fast-paced environment. This person will also have a keen attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of constituents (alumni, parents of alumni, current families, staff and faculty). Other qualifications include: effective time management skills, budget management, proficiency with Google tools, knowledge of Raiser's Edge or other database preferred. Some evening/weekend event management and meeting participation is expected to meet engagement goals. The candidate should have the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 pounds at a time. Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage all event logistics before and after events including communications, invitations, bookings and vendor coordination, database coding, onsite event set-up, check-in and follow-up
- Reunion--plan and organize alumni and reunion events, cultivate and manage volunteer reunion committees and reunion communication
- Collaborate with the Alumni Association Board and attend all meetings
- Plan the annual Alumni Association Golf Tournament--this position is the staff liaison with the Alumni Association Board Committee, identify and manage sponsors, coordinate all logistics, signage and communication with the venue
- Senior Giving Program--lead the Alumni Office's effort to garner gifts for the Saints Fund and teach about philanthropy with the Senior Class annually. This includes periodic events, communication, Senior Welcome Day, senior class gifts at commencement and gathering senior contact information upon graduation
- Young Alumni Engagement - design and run an engagement program for our youngest alumni as they transition from student to alumni status
- Collaborate with the planning of Hall of Fame (every four years), Distinguished Alumni Service Award (every two years) and Grandparents and Special Friends Day (annually)
- Oversee event management software
- Additional administrative support as needed
