Brownell Talbot College Preparatory School is looking for someone who is a dynamic recruiter of students. Engaging, innovative, a team player, someone who is outgoing, a self-starter, a good communicator (effective listener and presenter), organized, connected, a logistical thinker, active, and has the ability to establish long-term and meaningful relationships. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of the Omaha metro area and be well-connected within the community. Student Recruiter duties and responsibilities include: - Develop and foster relationships with teachers and administrators from potential feeder schools in the Omaha metro area to help attract mission appropriate students.
- Develop and foster relationships with local businesses, human resources, recruiters, real estate agents, and other professionals to promote Brownell Talbot.
- Organize recruitment activities and events to create interest and inform the community of Brownell Talbot.
- Work collaboratively with the director of admissions and school administration to set targets and goals focused on increasing applicants.
- Coordinate and participate in all recruitment efforts: advertising, social, direct mail, web, etc.
- Coordinate and participate in special events involving prospective students and their families.
- Collaborate with the Director of Communications and Marketing in the development of marketing strategies and promotional materials that interpret the school to prospective students.
- As part of this role you will help realize the Brownell Talbot’s key strategic focus to increase student enrollment through intentional community outreach.
- Partner with our communications and brand teams to leverage every avenue available to support applicants.
- Advance the recruitment process and achieve/exceed student referral and enrollment targets
- Build and maintain relationships with potential new student families and business/organizations, influence long-term strategic direction and drive engagement with contacts with potential connections to prospective BT students
- Find and cultivate new applicant leads and form new relationships with prospective families.
- Prepare and deliver various virtual or in-person presentations to demonstrate the value of BT education, community and unique experiences.
Qualifications - Three or more years of experience in recruitment
- Sales and marketing experience preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects with continual attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent communication skills including spoken and written
- Goal oriented
- Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Bachelor's degree preferred
