Holderness School is seeking an Interim Physics Teacher from January 14, 2021 - March 5, 2021

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Teach five sections at various grade levels: Honors Physics, AP Physics C: Mechanics, and AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism courses.
• Supervise a dorm of 22 students during evening study hours, two nights a week.
• Serve as advisor for a group of 7 students, providing guidance in academic, extracurricular, social, and personal areas and serve as the school’s key liaison to parents.
• Participate in supervision of one weekend’s activities on a weekend duty team.
• Attend faculty meetings, department meetings, and other meetings as required.
• Complete grades and comments and other forms of academic communication in a timely, professional manner.
• Promote the development of character, community, and curiosity in all dealings with students, including enforcing school rules.
