Context and Philosophy Friends School of Baltimore has an opening for Middle School Academic Coaches and Online Learning Proctors for the 2020-2021 academic year. The position would be to supervise, support, and coach Middle School students in person who are participating in online coursework on campus in a structured setting. Responsibilities: - Supervise and proctor a small group of students in their online learning
- Provide support in academic skill areas, as needed, to individual students
- Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting
- Consult and communicate with teachers through email about individual students under your supervision
- Offer input and feedback to teachers, administrators, and counselors about student progress and well-being in these campus learning settings through informal reports and information gathering
- Ensure that students are in compliance with the COVID-19 Community Code of Conduct and following all health and safety protocols established by the school for on campus learning and activity.
Qualifications: - High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred (would consider an undergraduate who is in progress toward a degree)
