Greens Farms Academy seeks a Middle School English teacher to fill a temporary long-term substitute position from as early as February through the end of the school year in June of 2021. The course load will consist of 4 sections of 8th grade English and other duties as a Middle School faculty member such as advising students and covering study halls. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people, an undergraduate or graduate degree in English or a related field, a student-centered approach, deep and diverse literary interests, and a passion for working with middle school students. Experience working with young learners in athletic programs, summer camps, or other extracurricular activities would also be an asset for this position.
