Responsibilities

• Set up necessary materials for classes (e.g. technology, student supplies)
• Make sure students adhere to health and safety protocols
• Hand sanitizing on entry
• Masks on at all times
• Wipe down desks at the end of each class
• Students may ask permission and drink from their water bottle in the hallway
• Assist students by answering questions, modeling skills, and circulate throughout classes to monitor and support students
• Share information and feedback with the lead teacher on a consistent basis
• Review lesson plans supplied by the lead teacher, teaching remotely, in advance of class
• Supervise students outside of regular classes during times such as snack, lunch, and recess
• Assist lead teacher with various tasks as needed (making copies, reviewing student work, etc.)
• Help students adjust, learn and socialize, and report to teachers about possible behavioral issues
