The Dean of Faculty mentors and supports teachers; partners with the Academic Dean and Department Chairs to support innovative pedagogy and curriculum; fosters exemplary teaching consonant with Urban’s critical priorities and core values; and manages the recruitment, hiring, evaluation, and professional development of the faculty. This position reports to the Head of School, is a member of the administrative team, and works closely with other administrators in the overall leadership and management of the school.
