High Meadow School seeks a forward-thinking Head of School with education and administrative experience within a progressive school environment, beginning July 1, 2021. The ideal candidate will be an approachable, energetic, and enthusiastic educator who cares deeply about children and being part of a community of learners, while also being a consistent, positive spokesperson for the school across a variety of constituencies. HMS, founded in 1984, is a progressive, co-educational school accredited by the New York Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS). It serves Nursery through 8th grades at a campus in the heart of the historic, scenic Hudson River Valley, about 90 miles north of New York City. The school fosters creative and intellectual discovery, civic engagement, and personal growth through a relevant, rigorous curriculum.
