St. Andrew's Episcopal School seeks a History teacher for a full-time, permanent position in our Upper School (9th -12th grade) History Department starting in August 2021. The role includes teaching four sections of departmental offerings and contributing to the development of electives and the History curriculum. Beyond relevant credentials and experience, compelling candidates should love working with high school age students, demonstrate a creative and engaging instructional style, and value the whole student's development. All teachers at St. Andrew’s are responsible for advancing the School’s mission and its commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. In addition to teaching duties, faculty members are broadly involved with school life, coaching a sport or an equivalent contribution to the School, such as advising an extracurricular activity or sponsoring a student organization.
