Poly Prep seeks applicants for the position of Faculty Substitute Teacher for our Lower, Middle and Upper Schools. The Faculty Substitute will be hired on a daily basis as need be to help to maintain an organized, efficient, and productive work environment for our students in the absence of their regular teacher(s). We seek candidates who are eager to engage students with patience, enthusiasm, and a sense of humor.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Teaching: 

• Support the academic program by covering classes in a teacher’s absence.
• Supervise study hall periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Heads of Lower, Middle and Upper School and the Assistant Head of School for Academics.

Additional Responsibilities: 

• Help students transition and move from one activity to another.
• Supervise lunch distribution as need be.
