The successful candidate: Will contribute to our mission through the following activities and responsibilities: - Work collaboratively with family members, specialist teachers, and other staff to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities.
- Ensure classroom arrangement, materials, and displays are organized and conducive to children’s learning.
- Provide in-person and/or virtual classroom experiences that are developmentally, linguistically, and culturally age-appropriate for the children served.
- Designing and facilitating rigorous, empowering lesson plans that are student-centered and thought-provoking
- Being intellectually curious and a have the desire to spark a love of learning in students
- Have a genuine appreciation of elementary-aged students, a sense of humor, and the ability to work well within a collaborative environment
- Document student’s progress through ongoing observation and direct assessment activities, using data to plan and individualize curriculum.
- Present engaging assemblies to an audience of Pre-K through grade 4 students on IB Learner Profile traits.

- Have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Qualifications: - 2 to 3 years of teaching experience preferably in a team-teaching setting;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent listening skills;
- Comfortable differentiating instruction;
- Classroom management skills;
- Dedication to meeting the needs of diverse student learners.
