Hargrave is now accepting applications for a Director of Leadership & Ethics / Leadership Instructor. ?The Director is responsible for the development of the Leadership and Character Development education for Cadets in grades seven through twelve and postgraduates. This is a full time staff position, reporting directly to the Commandant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• The successful candidate will also perform the following duties.
  • Maintain a twelve-month work schedule to meet program and school needs.
  • Serve as a member of the Character Across the Campus Leadership team.
  • Administer an active Leadership Awards Program.
  • Advise and assist in development and execution of Hargrave’s Officer Candidate School, Noncommissioned Officer Courses.
  • Advise and assist senior members of Hargrave Staff in matters regarding the Leadership and Character Development of the Hargrave student body.
  • Teach Leadership and Character Development during Summer School.
  • Maintain timely communications with cadets’ parents regarding cadet progress.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as may be assigned by the Commandant and President.

Hargrave Military Academy is a boarding/day school servicing boys in the grades 7 to 13 (middle to high school to post-grad).
