Cape Cod Academy is seeking a full-time English teacher for to cover a leave of absence for the remainder of the 2020/2021 academic school year. The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator, skilled at teaching different levels of middle and upper school English. We are in-person full time. You will: •Bring warmth, patience, and understanding to the classroom every day, encouraging children to learn and grow. •Work with a strong, collaborative team in a welcoming and friendly environment. It is a place where you can make your mark, take pride in your work, and enjoy yourself. •Administer school curriculum consistent with school goals and objectives. •Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction and student learning. •Maintain a system for accurate and complete record-keeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievement, and attendance.
