Lower, Middle and Upper School Teacher of Physical Education The Brearley School, an independent girls’ school serving over 700 students K-XII, seeks candidates for a full-time, one-year leave position of Teacher of Dance and Physical Education to teach courses in the K-12 PE curriculum and coach two varsity seasons in Middle or Upper School. The position begins in August 2021. We actively seek to build, nurture and sustain a diverse faculty and student body. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience and interest in African dance, non-Western dance, or the dance of other historically marginalized groups. An undergraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field is preferred.
