TUTORS Friends Community School seeks experienced, qualified tutors to work with lower and middle school students in a remote learning environment who have technical/computer skills and are familiar with google meet. They MUST live and work in the Maryland/DMV area. Friends Community School (FCS) is a progressive co-ed Quaker K-8 day school serving a diverse student body from the greater Washington, D.C. area. Tutors should have a strong foundation in teaching and guiding students who experience difficulty. They should have a firm foundation in the use of technology such as Google Meet, use of a document camera, navigating a school portal, and skills in reporting math progress effectively to parents and teachers. Flexible days/hours. Staff are compensated by the school. Teaching experience required. Candidates must have an undergraduate degree and/or have completed 120 credits and must pass state/FBI criminal background investigation.
