Position Description:

Trinity Valley School is seeking a full-time experiential educator to assist in directing the Trojan Outdoor Experience program beginning in the 2021-2022 school year.

The Experiential Education Program at Trinity Valley School:

The Trojan Outdoor Experience (TOE) program at Trinity Valley School seeks applicants who not only bring a wealth of experience in the outdoors but also a passion for taking students out of the classroom to explore the world in authentic ways. The TOE program is entering its 43rd year of expanding students’ knowledge of the world, their peers, and themselves through creative problem solving, primarily in a wilderness setting.

While a large portion of this position will be creating, managing, and facilitating outdoor programs, the candidate should also be well practiced in partnering with faculty from all grade levels to add experiential components to any curriculum.

Above all, the school seeks candidates who love working with young people and place students at the heart of their instructional practice. TVS welcomes candidates who are both comfortable in creating and managing experiential curriculum but also flexible enough to step into any additional roles on campus that would benefit from their expertise (student advisor, summer camp course director, outdoor sport coach, etc.).
